The Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize 2025 is open.
It’s a writing contest organised by The Alpine Fellowship, a charitable foundation committed to discovering emerging writers.
The first prize is £3,000.
For those who are serious about joining the contest, I’m launching a small support group (6 people max).
It’s a tiny group to help you refine your piece and raise your chances of winning one of the 3 prizes:
- £3,000 for first place
- £1,000 for second place
- £1,000 for third place
About the Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize 2025
- Open to all writing genres (fiction, non-fiction, essays, etc.)
- Open to all nationalities
- Your piece must be no longer than 1,250 words
- No AI
- The 2025 theme is Fear
- Submission deadline: 1st April 2025 at 23:59 (UK time)

About the Writing Group I’m Launching
- March 3-8: Group introductions, idea-sharing & first drafts
- March 10-15: Peer feedback round 1 & revisions
- March 17-22: Peer feedback round 2 & revisions
- March 24-28: Final edits & submission prep
We’ll use Telegram for discussions and Google Docs for feedback.
No Zoom meetings — just focused writing and structured feedback.
The group is limited to 6 participants, and I’ll be submitting my piece, too.
