The Truth About Getting Results

When to Quit (and When to Stick)

This summer, for the first time in 20 years, I won’t be ashamed to take my t-shirt off. I’ve had belly fat since I can remember. I don’t look like Homer Simpson, but I’ve always felt uncomfortable showing my upper body.

Not as much now.

For the past 30 days, I’ve been doing reps following ‪@mattcordellworkout‬ on YouTube.

Not a lot. Just 10–20 minutes a day, 3 or 4 times a week.

It’s working.

(There’s no way I’m going to show my abs on camera, so you’ll have to take my word for it. 😅)

You’ve heard it before. It’s been said many times by many people. It’s everywhere. It’s in philosophy and self-help books. It’s in quotes. It’s on social media. They keep saying it. Why? Because it’s true. And because it applies to many fields, including writing.

When you *consistently* do the *right* work, you get results.
