A Fascinating Book About The Brain You Should Read Today
Learn what’s going on up there in your head

“Reality is a narrative played out inside the sealed auditorium of the cranium.”
That is my favourite quote from The Brain: The Story of You, a fascinating book by David Eagleman — an American neuroscientist.
I read this book because I thought that learning about the brain could help me understand how the human mind works.
Well, I learned much more than that.
Here are some other cool stuff I discovered:
- Colours don’t actually exist.
- Having a small brain tumour could turn you into a murderer.
- People who had facial plastic surgery are less able to detect other people’s emotions.
- Incarcerating drug addicts fuels their drug addiction.
You’ll also learn how you make decisions, what reality is, how you perceive it, why you need other people and where brain science is going.
