Reading and Writing FICTION Expands Your Thinking

With writer, editor, and English teacher Christopher Walker

I always say that 95% of what I read and write is nonfiction. I have no interest in fiction. Well, there’s something I missing out for sure. And interviewing Christopher Walker made me well aware of that.

Some of the questions I asked him:

  • How do you find the time to read and write?
  • Why fiction?
  • How about nonfiction?
  • How do you come up with ideas for your stories?
  • Do English language exam preparation courses really teach writing?

One of the most insightful conversations about writing I’ve ever had.

Enjoy!
